“ Listen... Just stop what you're doing and come here. The drinks aren't that pricey. The drink prices are one thing, but the food...let me break it down. I'm a chef myself, the food here feels like someone in the back loves food. They really make sure the ingredients are respectable. They cook with intention, they cook with love, they make me proud that the art of food is still alive. I took one bite of a burger and laughed... No burger should taste this good. I drive trucks I've been around the entire country, this is one of the best burgers I've ever had in all 48 inland states. ”
“ Great service, amazing food, and beer, what more could you ask for in a good local bar. I stopped in for lunch today with my husband. We both ordered burgers which in my opinion are what they do best. We grabbed some fried pickles as well, don’t let the color fool you, they are amazing. The habanero ranch is so good and packs a punch with the spice. My husband ordered The Good Habit with onion rings. He added bacon and loved it. I got the Red and Blue burger which was really good but I had a hard time finishing it just because of the spice level. So beware! This one is definitely spicy. Service is great with one person running the bar and tables. He's super friendly and works quickly. Don't overlook the Flat, they makes some really great food. ”
“ The other day, my daughter and her boyfriend, my granddaughter and grandson-in-law were together at my house. They had brought some furniture by and once we had it put up we were trying to figure out where to grab a bite. The youngest couple are expecting a baby so my granddaughter was hungry. Priority #1 was getting her craving taken care of. Problem was, she wanted me to cook at home (nothing fancy but my chicken on the grill was her hope but I wasn’t prepared for that… that being said, pray for her husband right now ). So then we started naming restaurants nearby, they had to be nearby so all of the nice places in TR, Greer, Easley, Simpsonville or downtown Greenville are out. Nothing we named peaked her interest. I had thought The Flat was just a bar until I saw a few web posts about certain foods they have. I had been wanting to try it so I suggested it and did a little hype on what I had read about it. None of us had ever been so we agreed to be adventurous. (My grandson-in-law gave me a hug and whispered “thank you” in my ear ). I had a really good burger, my granddaughter and her husband got a dozen wings, he got a burger, she got a salad. The look on her face wasn’t captured by picture or video but her food was absolutely wonderful and exactly what the doctor ordered. She said the wings were the best she has ever had!! My wife got a small salad, she said it was quite fresh and tasted great. My daughter and her boyfriend really enjoyed their food too. ”
